Christa from 2nd St. Bakery Visits!

Today, Christa from 2nd St. Bakery in Turners Falls was kind enough to visit our R.Y class and share some of her cake decorating expertise. We had a great time learning how to make interesting designs with different types of materials that the bakery so generously donated. Afterwards, we indulged in some delicious chocolate cake. We would like to thank Christa and the 2nd St. Bakery for all of their help in making "The Birthday Batch" a success! Please click on the "comments" link to see what R.Y students have to say.

  1. Wow! Looks like a lot of fun. How much of the frosting actually made it to the cake? This is great work you're doing....Mr. K

  2. I'm jealous! Did she share any of her secret recipes with you? I'm also really touched to see how you all are giving back to the community. Thank you!

  3. Christa was very nice, and was a wonderful teacher. We learned a lot about how to decorate, and the different tips that you can use. She taught us how to make a rose, which was awesome. She even donated some supplies for us to use, which we are very thankful for. With her help we can make our cakes even more beautiful.
