Students have been working hard making pies for the Survival Center's Thanksgiving give-away. This project came about because we heard that the FASC had to severely cut back on what they could give away this year. Local farmers donated the apples and Christa from 2nd Street Bakery lent a hand with pie crusts.
Okay, so we went super apple crazy, and chopped and pealed like our lives depended on it. It was fun though at the same time. We are so excited to finish the pies, and hand them out at the survivial center.

i agree with a.s - pie making is going great, and were doing very good- i cant wait to hand them out at the survival center. :)
