Great New RY Group for 2010
With the start of 2nd semester, a new group of students take over the helm. Right now students are still getting to know each other and are solving some of the challenging group building challenges they’re given. As their advisors, we’re excited to work with such a great group and are really interested to see what kinds of projects they’ll choose to do this semester. Whatever they choose, we know that they’ll make a huge difference in our community. Click on the comments below to see their first impressions.

ReplyDeleteRY is pretty nifty. I'm pretty excited to see where its going to go.
What are you hoping to get out or RY this semester?
I'm hoping to help a lot of people and make them feel good about themselves which in turn will make myself feel good. :)
What kinds of community service do you want to do this year?
I want to do things with kids because I love hanging out with little kids and having fun with them. I would like to visit the pediatric wards at hospitals and spend time with kids there because I would like to make their days brighter.
How have the group building challenges been so far?
I feel that the challenges having been helping out with making our class come together more and connecting with each other.I think we should continue doing the challenges because I feel like the class is not as close as we could be.

ReplyDeletewell, the challenges have been...challenging. some of them are easier then others but it seems we've been able to complete them except for one.
How does RY seem so far?
RY has been pretty fun so far. I enjoy coming to RY during the day.

group building is an interesting activity to take part in. I believe it is a good way to develope social skills and i also think it helps people form trust in each other..............................................................................RY seems pretty cool. its better than sitting in an english class writing essays. . . it should be4 pretty sweeeeeeeeeeet!!!

ReplyDeleteRY seems fine so far i like it better than my other classes.
i am hoping to get a feeling of gratitude from helping people. i want to donate food and other products to help people lee fortunet then me.
so far the group building skills have been pretty basic most have been skills revolving around trust and teamwork. RYis going fairly well i think we can do alot of good with our class we all seem pretty open to new ideas
